Ridgecrest Foundation Legacy Impact:
Partner with us in impacting lives for generations to come!
My wife and I have been delighted to help Ridgecrest gain the financial stability it needs to keep ministering and moving forward in its important work with kids.
The peace you find there, and the lack of the world’s intrusion on our renewal time. Creation is all around you speaking of your creator to you. The friendliness of the staff, etc. I love to be there!
Camp has taught me that anything is possible with God and, no matter what, He will always love me. I will never forget the memories I have made over the past 10 years. I’m forever grateful for being a part of this special place.
Introduction
Welcome to the Ridgecrest Foundation Planned Giving Program, where your generosity can leave a multi-generational legacy by impacting lives for God’s glory. Our hope is to be a resource for you as you think through how best to steward what God has entrusted to you. By considering becoming a Legacy Builder, you can build more opportunities where lives are impacted through discipleship and adventure at Ridgecrest Camps and through purposeful hospitality at Ridgecrest Conference Center for generations to come. This program is designed to help you make thoughtful contributions that align with your personal values and financial goals.
Why Planned Giving Matters
Planned giving is a powerful way to make a meaningful and lasting impact on Ridgecrest Foundation’s mission. By including our organization in your estate plans, you can provide generational support for this ministry and its various initiatives, helping Ridgecrest Foundation remain strong and resilient. You can also leave a legacy for your loved ones to be a part of for generations.
Benefits of Planned Giving:
- Family Legacy: Legacy giving is one way to involve your family in philanthropy and teach them generosity. It will allow them to be part of something together and encourage them to be part of building Ridgecrest Foundation ministries. They, and their children, will have their own stories of impact and how God shaped their lives.
- Tax Benefits: Enjoy potential tax deductions and benefits while pouring into the ministry of Camp Ridgecrest, Camp Crestridge, and the Ridgecrest Conference Center.
- Financial Planning: Achieve your financial goals while pursuing Godly stewardship of his resources.
- Financial Flexibility: Legacy Giving allows you to support your chosen causes without affecting your current financial situation. You can structure your gifts to meet your financial needs and goals.
Donor Control: Ridgecrest Foundation will work with you to ensure that your gift will be used to both honor your wishes and best impact lives for God’s glory at Ridgecrest Foundation Ministries.
Ways to Give
We offer a variety of planned giving options, each tailored to your unique circumstances and goals. These include:
- Bequests: A bequest is a legal provision in a person’s will, specifying the distribution of their assets or property upon their passing. Bequests serve as a way for individuals to ensure that their assets are distributed according to their wishes and can support loved ones or charitable causes even after their passing. By naming The Ridgecrest Foundation as a beneficiary in your will or trust, you can leave a legacy to support our mission.
- Ridgecrest Foundation Ministries Facilities Endowment: This is an endowment created to ensure all facilities, current and future, will be maintained to our standard of excellence.
- Gifts of Real Estate: Contribute real property such as homes, land, or commercial properties.
- Gifts of Securities: Securities continue to be an excellent and popular method of making gifts. Donate stocks, bonds, or mutual funds to Ridgecrest Foundation, benefiting both you and the Ridgecrest Foundation.
- Charitable Remainder Trusts: A charitable remainder trust is an irrevocable trust that lets you donate assets to charity and draw annual income for life or for a specific time period. Establish a trust that provides you with income while also benefiting Ridgecrest Foundation.
- Life Insurance: Designate Ridgecrest Foundation as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
- Retirement Assets: People who are age 70 ½ or older can contribute up to $100,000 from their IRA directly to a charity and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution. This is known as a qualified charitable distribution. It is limited to IRAs, and there are other exclusions and considerations as well.

We share our needs and potential solutions so stakeholders can consider partnering with us through prayer and/or financial support as the Lord leads and enables. We believe motivation for joyful giving comes as God moves the hearts of people. Our role is to inform and provide opportunity without imposing undue obligation or pressure.
