Ridgecrest Foundation Planned Giving:
Impacting Lives for Generations
My wife and I have been delighted to help Ridgecrest gain the financial stability it needs to keep ministering and moving forward in its important work with kids.
The peace you find there, and the lack of the world’s intrusion on our renewal time. Creation is all around you speaking of your creator to you. The friendliness of the staff, etc. I love to be there!
Camp has taught me that anything is possible with God and, no matter what, He will always love me. I will never forget the memories I have made over the past 10 years. I’m forever grateful for being a part of this special place.

Introduction
By supporting The Ridgecrest Foundation (RF) through planned giving, you will leave a multi-generational legacy of Impacting Lives for God’s Glory – through Discipleship and Adventure at our camps, and through Purposeful Hospitality at our conference center. Your generosity will help ensure our ministry remains strong, resilient, and well-positioned to follow God’s lead for decades to come.
Benefits of Planned Giving
for the Supporter:
- Family Legacy: Planned giving is one way to involve your family in philanthropy and cultivate generosity in their lives. It enables them to be part of something together and encourages them to be part of building God’s Kingdom – leading to their own stories of impact and God’s work in their lives.
- Tax Benefits: Enjoy potential tax deductions and benefits while investing in the future of Camp Ridgecrest, Camp Crestridge, and Ridgecrest Conference Center.
- Financial Planning: Achieve your financial goals while responsibly stewarding the resources in your care.
- Financial Flexibility: Planned giving allows you to support causes you care about without affecting your current financial situation. You can structure your gifts to meet your financial needs and goals.
- Donor Input: RF will work with you to ensure your gift is used to effectively Impact Lives for God’s Glory in ways that are meaningful to you.

Ways to Give
We offer a variety of planned giving options that can be tailored to your specific circumstances and goals. These include:
- Bequests: A bequest is a legal provision in a person’s will, specifying the distribution of a portion of their assets or property upon their passing. Bequests serve as a way for individuals to ensure that their assets are distributed in alignment with their wishes to bless loved ones and support meaningful causes dear to their heart. By naming The Ridgecrest Foundation as a beneficiary in your will or trust, you will help us accomplish our mission for generations to come.
- Gifts of Real Estate: You can donate property such as homes, land, or commercial properties.
- Gifts of Securities: Securities continue to be an effective and popular method of making gifts. Donating stocks, bonds, and mutual funds to RF can benefit you and our ministry!
- Charitable Remainder Trust: A charitable remainder trust is an irrevocable trust that lets you donate assets to charity and draw annual income for life or for a specific time period – providing you with income while also benefiting our ministry.
- Charitable Lead Trust: This trust differs from a charitable remainder trust by providing regular income to a charity for a set period, and when the trust term ends, the remaining assets return to the supporter’s heirs.
- Life Insurance: You can designate The Ridgecrest Foundation as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
- Retirement Plans & IRAs: Retirement accounts, such as IRAs, 401(k)s, and 403(b)s, can be designated to charity upon the supporter’s passing by naming the organization as a beneficiary. Since these accounts are often subject to heavy taxation when inherited by heirs, donating them to a charity can reduce the overall tax burden.
- Businesses: There are even ways you can support RF utilizing your business assets!
